Rockpools are probably the easiest way to explore marine animals, and they are home to a huge range of weird and wonderful critters. All the animals that live in rockpools, and on the rocky shores of Sydney need to be able to survive in a very harsh environment, coping with changing tides, sun, rain, surf, wind and predators. To keep themselves safe, these rockpool animals have all sorts of defences including spines, claws, or even venom!
