Community Clean Up

On our recent clean up as part of Clean Up Australia Day we recovered over 30 bags of mostly plastic, in and around key penguin habitat.

This was a huge effort and a really fun day doing something great for our local environment and our endangered little penguins.

So - we're doing it again and would love for the community to get involved!

  • When: 8.30 - 10.30am
  • Date: Sunday 3 June
  • Where: Meet at Oceanworld entry

Bring: hats, sunscreen, covered shoes, gloves, water. We'll supply the bags.

All volunteers receive half price entry to Oceanworld + a FREE tea or coffee for their huge effort. Divers are also welcome.

Join Us!

Contact either Kris Lim 8251 7887 kris.lim@merlinentertainments.com.au or Claudette Rechtorik 8251 7875, conservation@sacf.org.au to register for the clean up.

Hope to see you there!
